The Official Start of Summer!

While summer officially starts on June 20, there are usually enough days of sunshine before that so we can start to enjoy the new season before we officially turn over the calendar. And we are definitely due for some of that sunshine. May was about as rainy and cold as any other May we can remember. That means, for many of us, we were turning the heat on and off to balance warmer days and very cool nights. Maybe you’ve even turned on the AC a few times. It’s a good reminder of how much we rely on our heating and cooling systems and how much we need to take care of them. If you are (over)due for an annual cleaning and inspection on either system, you might want to call us to make an appointment.

June is also a great time to think about getting away for a few days (weeks?) this summer. We’ve got a few tips if you’re going to take a vacation and you’re wondering how to manage your home’s temperatures while you’re gone.

And we’d be remiss not to wish all the dads and granddads out there a happy Father’s Day. Jen’s grandfather and dad made Tracey Energy a reality. While our fathers are no longer with us, we recognize the essential roles they played in our lives.

Here’s to the official start of summer!
