We have been serving the New Haven area since 1931, when Erwin S. Tracey went into business as Tracey's Range Oil in the City Point neighborhood. Erv's son Robert joined the business in 1945 as the fuel truck driver, and the company was renamed Tracey & Son. Robert relocated the business to the current Howard Avenue site in 1967. In 1987, Robert's daughter Jennifer, and her husband Ralph, became the third generation to be directly involved in the family business. In 1989, Robert's son Christopher joined the company as head of marketing and sales.

Tracey Energy Services, LLC was formed in 1997 by Jennifer and Ralph. It is a landmark business in the history of City Point - and the Tracey family remains committed to its tradition of "dependable service and commitment to our customers."
